After waffling back and forth about rebranding 45n5.com I did it! The new site name is DigitalProductReporter.com. I think the new brand and focus of topic will really help the site.

A few notes about the change

1. You should still receive the same updates through rss or email, full feed and all.

2. The site will be more “focused” than previously and now covering all topics that fall under the umbrella of “digital products” only.

3. I’ll accept guest posts now if they are relevant to digital products and your absolute best work ;) I’ll also consider moving the site to multiple authors. contact me

4. Commenting is turned off.

5. I’ll do monthly income reports for this blog only. Stay tuned ;) This should be real interesting because I never really monetized the old 45n5 version (I think it made $50 last month lol)

6. The site is now on Wordpress, icky, but I can’t test or develop anything on the most popular platform that you all use unless I’m using it also.

I chose to focus on digital products because I don’t see any blog that focuses exclusively on the topic or does it well and it’s something I’ve wanted to study more for a long time.

Comments were turned off for multiple reasons but the biggest were time management on my part and the inability for me to check comments regularly and have spam sitting there for a day or two sometimes. Others operate successfully without comments, for instance Seth Godin doesn’t do comments, neither does Calacanis.

The technical changes are almost finished and now I’ll attempt to ease into some posting with some more focus than the usual randomness. If you have any thoughts then blog them or contact me.
