It seems like there should be tons of money to be made helping your local people and businesses get online however I don’t here much talk about it.

The two most obvious ways to get paid getting people online are through website design and web hosting. However there are probably dozens of other ways.

Here’s one idea I’ve had:

The Digital Realtor

Offer a service to realtors and homesellers to make a digital version of their home with a website, videos, pictures, etc.

Basically you give the home as much of a digital presence as you possibly can and then charge $250 or something. You’d even take the pictures and videos.

$250 is peanuts when it comes to the sale of a house and if you help sell the homes and get a dozen or two jobs per month this could be a real business.

Maybe even buy the homes address as the domain name for an added touch like 1005turkeyfoot.com or something.

More real estate is showing up on youtube these days however it’s still sorely lacking.

When I’m looking for land 99% of it is found the way it was 10 years ago, through a directory of home/land listings and if I’m lucky it has a couple poorly focused pictures.

Getting Offline Dollars Helping Them Get Online

Certainly there is a ton of money waiting to be made helping people offline get online. Any other ideas to share or something that you’ve seen working to spark our minds?
