I’m mad as heck and I’m not gonna take it anymore!

I’m building this supercool site called ShowYourAdHere.com that I care deeply about seeing succeed and all I ask is that ONE site stay live. That’s it. That is the only thing I ask of a host, keep the site running.

So to get the job done I choose LiquidWeb. The result: I’m not a customer even 2 weeks and last night my site was down for 3 FULL HOURS and it took them over 1 hour to acknowledge the site was even down.

Now you might think I’m overreacting but let me explain. I purchased this service and pay over $200 per month just for starters, just to host one site and have it fully managed. They also assured me in presales this type of stuff doesn’t happen, and if it does it’s fixed immediately.

I’m not asking for brain surgery. I want to host one single website with someone. Did somehow the hosting world forget about the basics?

I want to do everything I can to keep the site up. I am ringing LiquidWeb’s bell one time to see if they stand up and take some action. Otherwise we will take our business to someone who can handle keeping one site live.

Public Notice to LiquidWeb: Please tell me and everybody that ever reads this post and everybody that I ever conduct business with why I should keep my website hosted with you.

Furthermore: What will you do to PREVENT this from ever happening again?

1. Why did it take OVER AN HOUR for anybody to even acknowledge my site was down?

2. Why was the site down for 3 HOURS?

Seriously liquidweb, what do you plan to do for us that will assure us this will never ever happen again? Can’t you keep one site up? That’s all we ask.

If you can’t declare today that this will never happen again and you will do a.b. and c. to prevent it you are no better than a shared host at $8.99 per month.
