The Wedding

I will be getting married in an undisclosed place at an undisclosed time in the very near future (sorry paparazzi). I need to log off now to get ready. I will be back in about a week.

I’ve already admitted I’m not a fan of guest blogging (here’s more fun with guest blogging, and more thoughts), and the girlfriend (er, wife) has already stated I should take some time away from websites so there will be no 45n5 updates, or updates to any other of my sites, in this time. However I will have the video camera rolling a bunch so if a video post (or three) slips in and is posted when I get back it’s not my fault, but no promises.

The 45n5 Plans

I was trying to think of something creative to do with this site for the time I’m gone, however I thought of the following two phrases:

1. Adsense Absence makes the heart grow fonder

By the time I’m back you should be much fonder of 45n5 ;-)

2. If you love something, set it free. If it comes back to you, it’s yours. If it doesn’t, it never was.

So I’ll set this blog free for a week, and if I come back and you are still here, well, then you are mine (woops, I mean) then it was meant to be. If not, well then I need to work harder.

The Forums

There are many brilliant people that stop by 45n5 in the field of making money online and if you would like to share your tips or ask questions while there is this hiatus I encourage you to give the forums a try. The forums aren’t there to make me rich, they are there for you to have a place to have your say around this part of the woods. But if you don’t want to that’s cool also, forums are a penny a dozen and I’ll see you when I get back.

The Management Of Your Empire While Away

I’ve backed up all of my databases that don’t auto backup. My phone is wifi enabled so when I find a random place with public wifi I will be logging in for only a few minutes to do a spot check of sites and erase any blatant spamming and make sure nothing blows up. I think that should keep me safe for a week.

Internet Withdrawal

To fight cravings from internet withdrawal I purchased some extra strength internet gum. You just chew one piece every two hours (or as needed) and your cravings for the internet will be much easier to handle.

The Future

I plan to keep moving 45n5 towards growing into more of a “community”, for lack of better words. I’m learning the more I encourage/enable you all to participate the more I’m learning also so it is very quickly becoming a win/win situation.

I’ve also got a couple cool upgrades/newtools planned for this site upon my return.
