Last Week Was Business Cards And PPC

So I set up this goofy landing page about a vistaprint review thinking it might help my chances with the ppc landing pages if I actually knew about the product? Did it work?

I set up a campaign at adwords and adcenter, bidding as high as .40 per click, and out of the two place I got a total of 2 clicks!

Wow, business cards are super-hyper-crazy competitive. No way I’m paying more than .40 per click for a product with an average sale of $40 and only a 15% commission.

So technically it didn’t work but statistically there is not enough data to make a judgment. Either way it was fun. Moving on to this week.

Pushing Counter Top Gardening

I’m not against picking random offers and promoting them. In fact since I started my PPC travels I’ve even made a few sales doing it. The problem is the sales usually cost me twice as much to buy the sales. So I run very red.

However, since I have had some luck I’m going for it again this week. 1 offer all week. It’s this Aerogarden counter top gardening thing. It pays $36 per sale at the pepperjam network which is a $6 higher payout than I’ve seen anywhere else for basically the same product. Plus the product looks interesting to me or something I’d like to try.

How About You?

That’s what I’ve been up to.

Anybody else still playing in the PPC game? How have you done?
